Indiana escapes Michigan with a 13-6 overtime win, but this offense is nowhere near national championship level! The defense saved the day, but can Curt Cignetti fix the offense before it costs the Hoosiers their playoff dreams?
INDIANA SURVIVES MICHIGAN… BUT WE HAVE SOME SERIOUS QUESTIONS! 🏈🚨
The Hoosiers escape Ann Arbor with a 13-6 overtime victory, but let’s be honest: this offense is nowhere near the level needed to win another national championship.
Indiana’s defense did everything it could to keep the team alive, while the offense struggled to generate points and move the football. Josh Hoover threw for just 81 yards, and Indiana was held scoreless throughout the second half of regulation before finally finding the end zone in overtime.
Curt Cignetti deserves credit for getting the win, but how much can this defense keep covering up the offensive struggles? Is Indiana still a legitimate national championship contender, or are people getting carried away with the hype?
We’re breaking down the ugly win, the offensive concerns, Cignetti’s coaching, and what Indiana must improve before the College Football Playoff.
